The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant who loves solving real business problems with technology. In this role you’ll be the bridge between what retailers need and what our unified commerce platform can do—guiding prospects, clients, and partners from first conversation through successful adoption.
You’ll lead tailored product demonstrations, translate business requirements into practical solutions, and help clients get the most out of the platform after they sign. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Client Delivery, and Customer Success, and you’ll need a balance of deep product knowledge, retail savvy, and the communication skills to make complex things clear to both technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Solutions Consultant, you excel at the following core competencies

  • Problem Solving – Translates business problems into clear, practical solutions that fit real-world constraints of timeline, budget, and platform capabilities.
  • Retail Acumen – Understands retail operations deeply enough to anticipate downstream impacts on stores, staff, and customers.
  • Communication – Explains complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, from store associates to executives.
  • Systems Thinking – Thinks systematically about data flows, integrations, and system dependencies across the commerce stack.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity – Operates confidently during discovery, asking clarifying questions to avoid assumptions and uncover the real requirement.
  • Continuous Learning – Learns quickly, picks up new capabilities fast, and turns lessons into reusable knowledge for the team.

The impact you'll make
Pre-Sales Solutioning
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s business needs and use cases.
  • Run discovery sessions to understand business requirements, then translate them into solutions using KWI’s functional capabilities and standard integration methods.
  • Create solution documentation and support RFP responses that show how KWI addresses specific business challenges.

Post-Sales Implementation Support

  • Help clients configure and optimize KWI to solve their business problems, guiding process and workflow changes and supporting change management.
  • Resolve complex implementation challenges and guide clients on connecting KWI to third-party systems using standard integration methods.
  • Document solutions and best practices for reuse, partner with Client Delivery on challenging implementations, and advocate for platform enhancements when client needs exceed current capabilities.

Partner Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Develop frameworks, best practices, and enablement materials that help implementation and referral partners position KWI, and provide solutioning guidance in their engagements.
  • Work with Product and Customer Success to turn client challenges into product requirements and reusable solution patterns, and share market insights that inform product strategy.

What you will bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in a solutions consulting, sales engineering, implementation, or pre-sales role—ideally in retail technology, commerce, or B2B enterprise SaaS.
  • A working understanding of retail operations (point of sale, merchandising, order management, or CRM) and how they connect.
  • The ability to lead compelling product demonstrations and tailor them to a specific audience and use case.
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and documenting them clearly for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data flows between systems, and the judgment to recommend practical approaches.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort working across Sales, Product, and Client Delivery teams.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a bias toward learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of the KWI team you will receive
