The Team:

Our Buyer Enablement team creates exceptional experiences to empower our revenue team, bringing our products to life for our buyers. We pride ourselves on leading by example and revolutionizing how companies engage with their buyers. Our inclusive and collaborative team works closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to provide buyers with what they need, when they need it, fostering a culture of success for all.
 
About the Role:
 
The Solutions Consultant acts as an amplifier within the technical discussions and the related sales processes, creating product-based and value-based reasoning in live meetings and pre-recorded video demos to support the challenges faced by our buyers.

      Shows technical architecture and product capabilities of the Consensus Platform
      Understands the challenges faced by customers and has a genuine desire to see them succeed.
      Recognised as a Value expert, uses strong business sense and critical thinking to create long-term customer value.
      Uses an authentic, knowledgeable and professional manner to connect and communicate with buyers ranging from front line staff, to CxO/Board members.
 
The Solutions Consultant creates confidence in all aspects of Consensus' solutions, identifying and bringing to life key competitive differentiators and value, and removing buying objections around alignment of Consensus' and the customer’s business needs.
This is achieved by leveraging knowledge within the Consensus sales-related teams, real-world experience, and combining this with a genuine passion for solving customers challenges and addressing related concerns.
 
 
What You’ll Do:
 
As a solutions expert:

1. Deliver high impact, live discovery and demo sessions, plus aid in the creation of automated product experiences of Consensus’ products and services. These bring to life the benefits of the proposed solution aligned to the buyer’s journey and their specific needs and issues.
2. Support net new and expansion enterprise & mid-market sales teams in the production of high-quality reactive and proactive ROI and Value-based proposals and assets which articulate the benefits of Consensus' proposed solutions.
3. Work with colleagues to assist in the development and delivery of product/technical content including (but not limited to) video demos, product tours, whitepapers, website content.
4. Support the Buyer Enablement team’s monthly, quarterly and annual objectives working in collaboration with other teams across the business.
 
As a technical expert:
 
1. Provide support to the sales teams in the discovery and explanation of application/browser architecture technologies, cloud architecture and integrations, especially focused on customer benefits.
2. Scope the technical parts of Statement of Works in order to accurately deliver the outcomes for customers, in line with the capabilities on offer.
3. Provide input to cross-functional departments related to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed (including partner and ecosystem offerings)
4. Continually provide feedback on product/technology related product areas that need to be developed or improved based on sales cycle engagement feedback.
 
 
What We’re Looking For:

      Great oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
      A track record of value-engineering and presales/solution consulting success within SaaS based solution providers.
      A good knowledge of demo automation products and how customers can leverage this to ensure a robust, secure and reliable business change.
      An enthusiastic level of passion for presales and excellence within the Buyer Enablement or Presales craft.
      Where working under tight time constraints with multiple colleagues on multiple opportunities and internal self-managed projects simultaneously.

Using Consensus, a sales engineering team builds a library of reusable interactive video demos that Sales sends out on-demand. Consensus automatically personalizes the experience and tracks engagement as the prospect shares the demo with other stakeholders in the buying group, bringing the entire buying group to live demos better educated and ready to talk specifics.
