Your opportunity
The Solutions Consultant will be the key Enterprise Success (Solutions Consultant, Customer Success and Support) representative in Japan. They have a detailed understanding of Scandit’s products, the technology, industry and vertical insights, its value and how it can deliver innovation and success. Solutions Consultants at Scandit can discover the client's needs and develop a workable and profitable solution and a convincing value proposition together with an Account Executive. A Solutions Consultant can articulate this in presentations, RFx documents, proposals and technical demonstrations delivered either remotely, by recorded video or face-to-face to the client.
What you will do
- Partner with the other leaders in Japan to build and execute a business strategy that delivers long lasting growth for Japan and APAC
- Build and execute Enterprise Success (SC, CS and Support) strategies and tactics to support Scandit’s objectives in Japan while ensuring alignment with the global Enterprise Success practice
- Provide strategic advice and day-to-day product expertise during the sales process, including directly interfacing with the sales team and potential customers
- Responsible that the Japanese sales team is accurately and suitably supported, resulting in successfully closed deals
- Influence Scandit product strategy by effectively communicating feedback from customers and prospects. Collaborate with the product team to support the development of new product features
- Identify and present to key customers how our mobile data capture and augmented reality solutions can improve current business processes
- Lead the design and delivery of solutions for customers
Who we look for
- 6+ years experience in a solution or technical consulting role
- Experience working with international teams in a global business context
- Strong communicator & relationship builder
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking roles, presentations and proposals for both business and technical audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Experience in mobile app development for iOS (Swift) or Android (Java / Kotlin)
- Solid understanding of mobile eco-system and enterprise IT architectures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
- Proficiency in Japanese and English, written and spoken
