Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported.
We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes.
In the Solutions Architect role, you will lead the technical and architectural design of Courier Health’s most complex and strategically important opportunities. You will serve as the technical authority during the sales cycle, translating complex client environments into clear, defensible solution architectures that enable successful implementation and long-term value realization.
Solutions Architects partner closely with Solutions Consultants, Sales, Product, and Client Solutions to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with Courier Health’s long-term platform strategy.
What You’ll Do- Translate client technical environments and system requirements into data flows, integration patterns, and system dependencies. Build repeatable reference architectures/templates that make these designs reusable across customers
- Lead deep technical discovery and data workshops across client systems, data models, security/compliance requirements, and operational constraints. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation paths and tradeoffs
- Produce high-quality technical artifacts (architecture diagrams, integration specs, data mappings, assumptions/constraints) and codify them into standards that reduce bespoke work over time
- Engage with clients as a technical leader throughout their Courier Health journey
- Strong passion for Courier Health’s mission and improving patient outcomes through technology
- 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or sales engineering
- Proven experience designing and explaining architectures involving CRMs, data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and secure data exchanges
- Comfortable reading API documentation, reviewing data schemas, and white boarding integration architectures, as the expert in the room
- Strong ability to communicate clearly across audiences, senior engineers, IT/security, business stakeholders, and executives
- Excellent technical judgment: strong systems thinking, pragmatic tradeoffs, and bias toward clarity and execution
- Preferred: technical undergraduate or masters degree, for example, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management
- Bonus: Experience working with life sciences, specialty pharma, rare disease organizations, or regulated healthcare environments including HIPAA and SOC2 frameworks
- 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
- 401(k) with employer funded match
- Unlimited Vacation
- Commuter Benefits
- Paid parental leave
- Catered lunch on Fridays
- Wellness stipend
- Great Place to Work Certified
