Position Summary:
We have a great opportunity available for a highly qualified Azure/AWS Cloud Infrastructure Technical Presales Solutions Engineer. This role will provide technical expertise in support of pre-sales activities, Migrations. The successful candidate will develop general knowledge across all Migration functions and assist in the assessment, architectural reviews, design, demonstration, and enhancement of cloud solutions as required by the partner.
This role involves collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements, designing and architecting Cloud-based solutions, and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure/AWS services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business requirements, technical needs, and project goals.
• Solution Design: Design and architect Azure/AWS solutions tailored to meet customer requirements, including compute, storage, database, networking, and security components.
• Technical Presentations: Deliver engaging and informative presentations, demos, and proof-of concepts (POCs) to showcase cloud solutions and capabilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
• Documentation: Develop detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and technical evaluations to support the sales process.
• Industry Trends: Stay current with Azure/AWS service updates, industry trends, and best practices to provide up-to-date guidance and recommendations.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role with a focus on AWS technologies.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Azure/AWS services, including AKS, VM’s, Blob storage, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation. Experience with architectural best practices.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions that address customer needs and challenges.
• Presentation: Proven experience in delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to a variety of audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Cloud Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional, Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant certifications.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in [specific industry, if applicable] or with [specific technologies or tools relevant to your business].
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, DevOps practices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
