Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction and architecture of solutions tailored to the needs of our Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) clients. In collaboration with Babel Street’s engineering and business teams, you will lead deployment efforts in secure government environments, design scalable and sustainable architectures, and act as a trusted partner to our government counterparts. 

We are seeking an individual with a deep understanding of software system architecture, who is able to integrate various technical components into cohesive, secure solutions that address both user needs and strict security requirements. You will also collaborate with product teams to ensure that our solutions meet current and future standards and can be deployed across diverse and complex environments.

• Design and implement solutions to complex problems, considering aspects such as security, networking, availability, scalability, resource constraints, and project timelines.

• Serve as a technical expert for our clients, offering valuable insights into the architecture and security of Babel Street’s products, and providing guidance on their optimal use.

• Work closely with product development teams to shape roadmaps that align with US government standards and anticipate future trends and requirements.

• Produce detailed documentation, including technical diagrams and solution architecture, ensuring clarity for both internal teams and clients.

• The technical ability to quickly develop an In-depth understanding of Babel Street’s products and their application in a range of environments.

• A strong background in large-scale software systems and information security, with an understanding of how to secure and manage them in sensitive, high-stakes environments.

• Familiarity with core networking protocols, enabling you to design solutions that are robust and secure.

• A proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges with minimal oversight, demonstrating the ability to drive solutions independently.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with clients and understand their needs to deliver impactful solutions.

• Experience working in or with classified environments is a plus, as it helps in understanding the unique constraints and security protocols involved.
