Solutions Architect:
Mattel is seeking an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Solution Architect to lead and define requirements for transformation initiatives in our toy manufacturing and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring our Oracle-based supply chain solutions drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions—particularly in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and other supply chain modules like Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, Costing, PDH —aligned with Mattel’s strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and maintain a clear product strategy for Oracle Supply Chain modules, ensuring alignment with Mattel’s transformation goals.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Partner with supply chain leaders, operations teams, and IT to capture detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Solution Design Guidance: Work closely with the technical team to design scalable, efficient solutions within Oracle applications (ERP/Cloud), ensuring business needs are met without unnecessary customization.
- Order-to-Cash Expertise: Lead enhancements and solutions for O2C processes, including order management, fulfillment, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Cross-Module Collaboration: Provide input and oversight on related supply chain modules such as Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Planning.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring features are delivered with high business value.
- Testing & Validation: Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet functional, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage Oracle capabilities to streamline operations.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Supply Chain solutions (Oracle Fusion Cloud).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role driving ERP transformation projects.
- Strong functional expertise in Order-to-Cash and at least one additional supply chain module (Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Planning).
- Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods industry; toy manufacturing experience a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to document and track requirements
- Adept at translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
