Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales: Supports and/or manages the full sales cycle for assigned accounts and programs, from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Customer Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including educators, administrators, and program leaders, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Campaigns: Engages marketing-generated leads, qualifies opportunities, and executes strategic outreach campaigns to generate pipeline and drive bookings.
- Customer Growth: Builds and expands customer relationships by understanding customer needs, identifying solution opportunities, and delivering tailored recommendations that support customer success.
- Cross-Selling: Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Teaching Strategies' products and services to existing and former customers through proactive outreach, product demonstrations, and relationship building, enhancing the customer experience while driving additional revenue.
- Sales Meetings: Conducts outreach to schedule and lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, and sales meetings for assigned accounts and opportunities.
- Sales Targets: Meets and exceeds individual sales targets while contributing to overall team bookings and revenue goals.
- Product Knowledge: Develops a deep understanding of Teaching Strategies' product offerings and effectively communicates their value to customers.
- Data Analysis: Utilizes CRM tools to track customer interactions, sales activities, pipeline, and campaign performance while maintaining accurate account records.
- Occasional domestic travel.
- Spanish speaking (bilingual) preferred.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a sales career.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a willingness to learn and apply new strategies in the education market.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce or a similar platform.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand educational product features, benefits, and use cases.
- Basic skills in analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to educators and parents.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Spanish speaking (bilingual) preferred
