The AI Workforce Solution Engineer Manager is a senior people leadership role responsible for leading a team of Copilot and Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineers who help customers accelerate technology adoption, drive AI transformation, and realize business outcomes from Microsoft solutions. The role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, business strategy, team development, and sales execution.
The manager is expected to influence across organizations, align stakeholders, coach technical talent, and drive measurable customer and business impact. Success requires balancing strategic vision with operational excellence while fostering innovation and a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers.

Solution Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Skills Required
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- 3+ years people management experience (including leading virtual teams).
- Deep understanding of AI, cloud platforms, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven ability to influence across complex organizations and drive strategic change; deep executive communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leading high-performing technical sales, consulting, or solution engineering teams.
