Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solution Developer with expertise in Ruby to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications that drive key product functionalities, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and reliable. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions, contributing to the ongoing success of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery:
Use your technical experience to deliver custom Ruby solutions based on the OnitX platform by:
- Building product solutions scripted in the Ruby language.
- Build productized integrations using Workato.
- Use low-code platform to build solutions where appropriate.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best development practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Work closely with internal teams (such as Engineering, QA, and Product) to ensure the smooth execution of deliverables and that the solution meets the client's requirements
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails development.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API integration.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of hands-on technical or software implementation experience is preferred (SaaS software preferred)
- Knowledge of Ruby, Rails, JavaScript and React.js is a plus
- Prior experience of working on Enterprise Legal Management and Contract Lifecycle Management products
- Prior experience working with an iPaaS such as Workato or MuleSoft
- Liquid templating language experience a plus
