Job Summary
Part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families.Job Description
What you’ll do:
Essential Job Functions & Tasks
- Design, configure, and support technology solutions that meet business and end-user needs, including solutions with GIS and spatial capabilities.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and configuration issues using a structured problem-solving approach.
- Work directly with business partners to understand needs, translate requirements, and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Understand common solution patterns involving applications, APIs, services, relational databases, cloud technologies, and GIS.
- Apply a working knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial data, and mapping to support and troubleshoot location-based solutions.
Preferred Requirements:
- IT Project development experience, Requirements elicitation, ESRI GIS specific experience
- GIS or Technology related coursework/degree
- JIRA, Agile/Scrum, 5+ Years Experience working with GIS Tools and Technologies, ArcGIS Arcade, ArcPy
Preferred Ceritications:
- Scrum certifications, GIS Professional Certificates
