Job Summary
This is a remote based salary position that is responsible for helping to drive new and existing ALM revenue (OTO Project and Program) from prospecting and supporting new + existing customer accounts within Iron Mountain’s Sales organization. Members on this team solution sell through teaming with Field and Inside Sales, networking and executing on account plans and marketing initiatives to increase Iron Mountain’s footprint within assigned and unassigned accounts resulting in revenue growth and quota attainment.

  This position is also responsible for being an Iron Mountain ALM/ITAD Subject Matter Expert that knows the ins and outs of our business, service capabilities, working with partners and vendors and how to navigate through all internal steps of the Sales and service process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with various account teams to drive new ALM/ITAD/ITAM business. Assesses customer’s current and potential needs and determines appropriate Iron Mountain service solutions.

  • Positions and illustrates alternative ways of creating the real value of Iron Mountain's ALM solution offerings for customers through assessing their problems or opportunities and highlighting Iron Mountain’s areas of strength, competitive pricing, customer satisfaction and competitive advantages within each existing and net new accounts.

  • Understands customer requirements and contracts while partnering with other Iron Mountain departments. May be required to perform additional customer needs, work with vendors and communicate pricing to other departments.

  • Effective internal teaming with Business Development Associates (BDAs), Executives (BDEs), Customer Service Managers (CSMs) and Solution Development Executives (SDEs) to deliver our value proposition and drive ALM/ITAD solutions and service revenue growth from our customers.

  • Assists with pipeline development and bookings within respective territory and/or assigned account portfolio.

  • Builds customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals. Acts as industry expert to the customer. Ensures frequent communication both internally and externally to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customer educated on emerging industry

  • Responsible for timely, complete, and accurate input and management of Saleforce.com opportunity information.

  • Continual education to stay abreast of latest best practices and development in IT asset management and disposition practices

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a strong background and knowledge of strategic account management, sales process and solution selling.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency with G Suite, MS Office and Salesforce.com systems.

  • Must meet and exceed key activity metrics.

  • Must have the proven ability to translate the customer need(s) into solution requirements through creating powerful value propositions and negotiation skills.

  • Have the ability to influence and negotiate through proven sales skills and needs identification by aligning unique insights to key customer priorities.

  • Must exhibit excellent written, oral and presentation skills through power messaging.

  • Encompasses strong interpersonal, planning, analytical skills and business acumen for effective decision making.

  • Candidates should be able to make business decisions and think in broad terms, considering the impact to the entire company.

  • Ability to team effectively at all levels of IRM and customer personnel (to include c-level) on a wide range of topics and issues.
