About the role
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team and help us expand the Coalition security business through a deep understanding of the needs of clients and prospective clients. In this role you will leverage our technical capabilities to help our clients solve business problems and help them overcome daunting challenges. It is an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor and lead designer of creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Dive headfirst into complicated challenges balancing organizational politics, security fundamentals, and business impact all with the end goal of making the client successful
- Set clear expectations around what we can and can’t do, then craft a strategy for the delivery teams to ensure the prospect’s success
- Go deep on the delivery side of the business. Scope and project manage PoCs, which includes working with the delivery organization to make sure we’re showing prospects what they need to see in order to make a buying decision
- Build relationships and work alongside specialists in their fields, including SOC analysts, field sales professionals, and clients of all shapes and sizes
- Deeply understand prospect challenges that lead them to Coalition and set clear expectations around which of these challenges we can help them.
- Ensure we’re selling with empathy and integrity with each prospect conversation
- Support sales by collaborating on sales strategy, providing service demos to prospects, and acting as a technical and overall Coalition SME
- Prepare delivery teams for inbound prospects by providing details associated with prospect expectations, opportunities to show value, things to look out for, and technical details regarding their specific environment

- Excellent oral and written communication

- High attention to detail regarding financial modeling skills
- Ability to work under indirect supervision
- Broad understanding of information security topics
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
- Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new knowledge and skills
- Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
- Technically creative and open-minded

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $150,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
