Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to define and drive the technical architecture of a large-scale e-commerce platform. The candidate will work closely with engineering, product, DevOps, QA, and business teams to design scalable, secure, highly available, and maintainable solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot, React, microservices, APIs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with a solid understanding of modern e-commerce architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain the end-to-end architecture for e-commerce applications across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design scalable and highly available solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and React.
- Define frontend architecture and best practices using React, TypeScript, state management, and reusable components.
- Design cloud-native solutions on GCP, considering scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Work with engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, coding standards, and technology guidelines.
- Review technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential scalability or performance issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, leads, and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
- Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that improve engineering productivity and application capabilities.
- Support troubleshooting of complex production issues and provide long-term architectural solutions.

- GCP certification is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience working with distributed/global engineering teams.
