As a Solution Architect, you’ll have the opportunity to work at the beating heart of data within Rabobank. You’ll collaborate with people who have an insatiable curiosity for technology, data, and personal development. In this role, you’ll continue to support the Treasury ALM Tribe while also helping to define the functionality needed to support the bank’s strategic direction.

• As Solution Architect for the ALM Tribe—covering IRR, Liquidity, and FTP—you define the target architecture and guide the transition from the current landscape. You collaborate closely with the business and area architect to shape both strategic and tactical solutions.
• You work with squads in ALM Market Risk in the Banking Book (MRBB) Insights, other areas within the tribe, and key stakeholders. Your strong soft skills help you build trust and create buy-in for architectural decisions across teams.
• With a background in software development, you drive the automation and professionalization of our way of working. You support seven squads using a mix of in-house and vendor tooling, always looking for smarter, more efficient solutions.

• As a Solution Architect, you design solutions that move us closer to the target architecture.
• You provide architectural guidance to squads during the implementation of these solutions.
• You work with multiple squads and business stakeholders, so strong stakeholder management skills are essential.

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture, ideally combined with business architecture
• Proven background in banking and risk management, particularly in Asset and Liability Management (ALM)
• Experienced in complex organizational environments
• Able to work independently while keeping stakeholders and teams well-informed
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage, align, and influence across teams
• Open-minded in discussions, while principled and decisive when needed
• Flexible mindset, capable of switching between strategic vision and tactical execution
• Background in software development and coding
• Fully proficient with the Azure Cloud Platform
• Proactive and shows initiative
• Strong analytical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset
• Driven, persistent, and focused on results
• Clear and adaptive communicator, tailoring messages to fit the audience and context
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics, PySpark, C#, Azure Networking, and Data Management
• Certified in Azure Solution Architect, Azure Developer, Azure Administrator, and Azure Security
