Position Overview:

Skillsoft Global Knowledge is seeking an experienced professional sales leader with 5+ years in the SMB sector, along with a history of managing and motivating a sales team to grow top-line revenue and over performance in quota attainment. This individual will manage an SMB Account Management team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performance sales team to:
  • Leverage prospecting skills to identify, qualify and close new business
  • Retain and increase revenue in assigned customer account list
  • Develop, maintain and grow an ongoing funnel at qualified 3X ratio
  • Leverage prospecting skills to identify, qualify and close new business opportunities in existing accounts
  • Deliver high impact customer presentations that articulates the company’s value proposition
  • Close sales in complex, long sell cycle situations
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Skillsoft Global Knowledge consultative and solution selling process
  • Successfully develop and implement a sales strategy to drive top-line revenue growth encompassing all elements of the company’s offerings as appropriate; manage any conflict between service offerings in a positive way
  • Operates as a strategic partner and proactively serves as a “trusted advisor” in digital transformation environments
  • Maintains awareness and keeps abreast of the constantly changing technology community, landscape and IT workforce.
  • Work with sales operations and management on annual budgeting and quota for region, including quota assignment
  • Partner with related sales, marketing and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration
  • Work positively with, and influence senior leaders and clients to ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction
  • Establish coaching as an ongoing priority to maximize effectiveness and productivity. This will include, but not be limited to, creating territory plans, executing on sales plans and effectively spending time with front-line leadership

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Must have a proven track record of successfully recruiting and managing 6+ person sales teams, leading them to achieve regional business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, coach, and motivate top performing sales teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and successfully executing regional sales plans addressing new customer acquisition and existing customer growth
  • Creativity and proficiency in supporting their team’s sales cycles, including prospecting activity, qualifying opportunities, elevating to executive decision makers, negotiating and closing sales and generating repeat business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in Dutch and English)
  • Ability to interact effectively with corporate management
  • Established key contacts in the corporate training industry would be a plus
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to manage discretionary expenses and operate in a fast growth environment

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • MBA preferred

Functie Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Manage, ontwikkel en motiveer een high-performance Sales team:
  • Maak gebruik van prospectievaardigheden om nieuwe klanten te identificeren, te kwalificeren en te sluiten
  • Omzet behouden en verhogen met de toegewezen klanten

  • Benut prospectievaardigheden om nieuwe zakelijke kansen binnen bestaande accounts te identificeren, te kwalificeren en te sluiten
  • Geeft klantpresentaties met grote impact die de waarde propositie van het bedrijf duidelijk overbrengen
  • Sluit Sales deals in een complexe en lange verkoop cyclus af
  • Ontwikkel een grondig begrip van het Skillsoft Global Knowledge advies- en verkoopproces voor oplossingen
  • Succesvol een verkoopstrategie ontwikkelen en implementeren om de omzet te stimuleren, waarbi alle elementen van het aanbod van het bedrijf omvat; eventuele conflicten tussen de aangeboden diensten op een positieve manier beheren
  • Functioneert als strategische partner en treedt proactief als een "trusted advisor" in omgevingen van digitale transformatie
  • Blijft op de hoogte en volgt de voortdurend veranderende technologiegemeenschap, het landschap en het IT-werkplek.
  • Werkt samen met Sales Operations en management aan de jaarlijkse begroting en quota voor de regio, inclusief de toewijzing van de quota
  • Werkt samen met gerelateerde verkoop-, marketing- en ondersteuningsmiddelen om kritieke kansen succesvol te benutten en de marktpenetratie te bevorderen
    • Werkt op een positieve manier samen met senior leiders en klanten om een zeer hoog niveau van de klanttevredenheid te waarborgen
  • Stelt coaching vast als een voortdurende prioriteit om de effectiviteit en productiviteit te maximaliseren. Dit omvat onder andere het opstellen van territorium plannen, het uitvoeren van verkoopplannen en het effectief besteden van tijd met front line leidinggevenden

  • Moet een bewezen staat van dienst hebben in het succesvol werven en managen van verkoopteams van 6 of meer personen, en hen leiden om de regionale bedrijfsdoelstellingen te behalen
  • Aangetoonde capaciteit om top presterende verkoopteams te werven, te leiden, te coachen en te motiveren.
  • Bewezen ervaring in het ontwikkelen en succesvol uitvoeren van regionale verkoopplannen gericht op het werven van nieuwe klanten en de groei van bestaande klanten
  • Creativiteit en vaardigheid in het ondersteunen van de verkoopcycli van hun team, inclusief prospectieactiviteiten, het kwalificerende van kansen, het betrekken van beslissingsmakers op directieniveau, onderhandelen en sluiten van verkoopdeals en het genereren van terugkerende omzet
  • Uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatieve vaardigheden (in het Nederlands en Engels)
  • Vermogen om effectief te communiceren met het bedrijfsmanagement
  • Het hebben van belangrijke contacten in de trainingsindustrie is een pluspunt
