About the Role
Our client, a leading telecom group, is looking for a Solution Architect – Telecom & Digital Channels to design and deliver the customer-facing platforms at the heart of its digital experience: mobile apps, web portals, self-care, eCommerce, CRM, and omnichannel journeys. Based in Antananarivo, this is a hands-on architecture role for someone who turns business needs into scalable, secure, well-documented solution designs — and stays close to delivery to see them through.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture roles.
- Strong background with telecom operators or telecom technology vendors.
- Proven delivery of digital channel platforms: mobile apps, self-service portals, eCommerce journeys, agent/dealer apps, omnichannel engagement.
- Hands-on integration experience across CRM, billing, charging/OCS, order management, API gateways, and identity systems.
- Solid command of API-led architecture, microservices, REST/SOAP and event-driven integration, plus security fundamentals (OAuth2, SSO, IAM).
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery with DevOps/CI-CD awareness.
- Nice to have: TM Forum Open APIs, TOGAF, cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP), exposure to BSS/OSS ecosystems and vendors such as Amdocs, Huawei, Salesforce, MuleSoft or WSO2.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions across digital channels and telecom ecosystems, from HLD to detailed design.
- Translate business and customer-journey requirements into architecture-ready solution designs — and challenge weak requirements rather than accept them.
- Produce architecture deliverables (SDD, HLD/LLD, integration and sequence diagrams, deployment views) and defend them at Architecture Review Boards.
- Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance by design.
- Partner with development teams, vendors, QA, DevOps, and project managers through implementation, SIT/UAT, and go-live.
- Keep designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards and the group target state.
