Role Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, DevOps & Release Management, within the Risk and Compliance team based in Pune,. You will play a critical role in driving the DevOps and platform engineering adoption across the Risk & Compliance technology ecosystem. You will partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product, and Enterprise Architecture teams to modernize CI/CD capabilities, advance Infrastructure-as-Code adoption, strengthen observability and operational readiness, and establish best-in-class release management practices. You will be responsible for architecting cloud and hybrid platform release solutions that enhance developer productivity, improve deployment reliability, and ensure governance standards are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also -
- Design DevOps and Release Management architecture across Risk & Compliance applications.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, quality, and reliability.
- Define release governance, deployment standards, rollback strategies, and environment management processes.
- Architect scalable, secure, and highly available AWS and hybrid-cloud solutions.
- Design and Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and cloud automation frameworks.
- configuration management and environment automation using Ansible.
- Own certificate provisioning, renewal, lifecycle management, and compliance processes.
- Participate in major incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Establish DevOps best practices, platform standards, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Proactively identify technical risks, remove delivery impediments, and provide scalable solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- You will provide technical leadership for platform automation initiatives, drive continuous improvement across release and deployment processes, and champion engineering excellence through standardization, innovation, and automation. Your contributions will directly support business agility, risk reduction, compliance adherence, and the successful delivery of strategic Risk & Compliance programs.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field preferred, with 6-10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Release Management, or Infrastructure Automation, including 4+ years in an Architect, Lead, or Principal role.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale DevOps and Release Management solutions for mission-critical, regulated environments while working with globally distributed teams.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD platform architecture, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps, deployment automation, release orchestration, environment management, deployment governance, rollback strategies, and production readiness controls.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, GitHub Duo, etc.), AI-assisted SDLC practices, prompt engineering, responsible AI, and leveraging AI to improve automation, deployments, validation, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
- Deep AWS expertise, including EKS/ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, IAM, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, cloud networking, and designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Infrastructure-as-Code governance, configuration management, deployment automation, and container platform management.
- Expertise in observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog/AppDynamics, logging, monitoring, alerting, SLI/SLOs, error budgets, chaos engineering, resilience testing, and operational excellence.
- Experience delivering technology solutions in Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or FinTech environments, with exposure to multi-cloud architectures and strong leadership skills to inspire teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
Work Shift
