Job Title: Solution Architect (Sitecore)
Location: Bangalore, KA
Position Overview:
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Solution Architect (Sitecore) to join our Global Marketing IT team. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of complex, multi-brand, multi-site, and multi-lingual Sitecore solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to analyze requirements and translate them into robust Sitecore solutions.
- Design architecture and technical solutions that align with business goals, best practices, and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
- Drive decisions on technology selection, integrations, and overall system design.
- Possess a deep understanding of the Sitecore platform, its features, capabilities, and integration points. Stay updated with the latest Sitecore developments to provide informed recommendations.
- Hands-on experience managing a complex Marketing Architecture that fulfills business functions like Content Operations, Marketing Automation, Web Analytics, and Third Party integrations.
- Define overall system architecture including integrations with third-party systems, databases, APIs, and external services.
- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability among different components. Architect solutions that are scalable and optimized for high performance.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design documents that effectively communicate the solution design.
- Mentor team members on coding standards and architectural principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Sitecore certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sitecore Architect or similar role with at least 5-8 years of experience.
- Strong expertise in Sitecore CMS, including Sitecore XP, Sitecore SXA, and Sitecore JSS.
- Experience with modern Sitecore composable platforms and knowledge of React, Next.js, and GraphQL is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline) and in-depth knowledge of web technologies such as .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
