Job DescriptionThe Application Packager will create and or modify MSI packages (Must have extensive Orca experience), must have advanced VBScript experience for automation (wrappers, etc.)
Specific responsibilities include:
- Package applications in MSI format/standards
- Create custom wrappers for utilization with SCCM
- Coordinate the collection of application packaging and testing requirements
- Perform testing and distribution of packages
- Coordinate testing and UAT efforts
Desktop Application Packager Mandatory Skills
- Min of 6 years’ experience with the following Windows Technology: Windows 7, SCCM
- Experience creating application packages with MSI third party tool sets as well as Orca
- Advanced knowledge of scripting techniques to automate pre/post installation steps/conditions
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, superb Quality Assurance
Nice to have
- Experience with APP-V Sequencer a plus
