We’re building something exciting - a new e-commerce and marketing platform based on composable, headless, cloud architecture. Our ambition is to deliver a seamless, fully tailored end-to-end customer experience.
As a Software Tester, you’ll join a collaborative team of 12 specialists primarily located in Poznań - a group known for strong cooperation, good humor, and an ever-evolving passion for billiards. Your mission will be to ensure quality across the entire stack and help shape the future of our test automation standards.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting multiple development teams as we undergo a major architectural transformation of our web development landscape. As part of our Tester Center of Excellence, you’ll help define, implement, and maintain automation standards that will guide the testing environment across ROCKWOOL.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and executing manual test cases to validate features across backend, frontend, and integrations;
- Introducing and establishing the test automation framework, including governance, best practices, and standards;
- Developing and maintaining automated test suites for regression, integration, and performance testing.;
- Collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality from concept to delivery;
- Troubleshooting and analyzing defects, ensuring timely resolution;
- Driving continuous improvement in testing processes and tools;
- Documenting test strategies, plans, and results to support sprint goals.
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation.
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, defect management, and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright) and scripting languages (Python).
- Ability to set up and govern automation standards across projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Understanding of performance, security, and usability testing.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and openness to new ideas.
- Passion for GenAI and its potential to enhance and automate the testing lifecycle.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Optimizely DXP and headless CMS setups;
- Experience with Azure cloud environments;
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker);
- Performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter);
- React testing libraries (as a bonus);
- Algolia Search (as a bonus).
