With $1,000 in his pocket, Allen Lund made the brave decision to start his own transportation brokerage company. It was 1976, when Allen Lund Company formally opened the first office in Los Angeles. Now, we have 41 offices and continue to grow!

We are looking for an Oracle Apex and PL/SQL Developer to join our ALC India team!
You will
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and issues.
- Track and document defects and issues, providing detailed information to the development team for resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar, to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Set up and manage test environments, including databases, servers, and application configurations.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Perform performance testing to assess the scalability and reliability of software applications.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, test results, and defect reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices, including the adoption of new tools and methodologies.
Skills and Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestComplete). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach to testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or similar quality assurance certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
