Software Test Engineer

The Software Test Engineer role provides you a unique opportunity to work on an impressive technology landscape, involving many of the most popular tools and cloud platforms of today. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of software developed by the Performance Testing Engineering teams. You will define, design and implement innovative ways to push our products to the edge and ensure it can provide the reliability, scalability and availability our customers expect from Tricentis products.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the evolution of automation solutions
• Work in collaboration with developers, architects, scrum-masters, QA teams on different projects for continuous integration and rapid delivery of new features
• Develop and maintain automated test cases
• Co-build automated testing strategies with QA teams
• Be proactive on improvements in technologies, processes and methodology
• Contribute to the definition, construction and monitoring of automated test KPIs
• Performs other duties as assigned

Technologies you will use:

• Java, Typescript
• Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Jemmy
• Jenkins (basic knowledge), Git/Github, Docker
• qTest and Jira Tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience, for example, quality assurance, software development, systems architecture, or administration.
• Experience in test automation
• Diverse experience with all types of testing, regression testing, system testing, integration testing and performance testing
• Practice with virtualization (Docker, Kube, Openshift)
• Ability to work as part of a distributed team
• Self-starter with the ability to determine technical solutions

If you’ve got some of these skills, even better:

• Knowledge of Agile methodology (SCRUM) & DevOps practices
• Working knowledge of SAP applications
• Speaking French
