We are seeking a dynamic Software Test Engineer with a strong focus on test automation. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and efficiency. As a Software Test Engineer at bswift, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing automated scripts to test our robust, web-based solutions focused on benefits, enrollment, and HR management. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software, using automated scripts to identify and resolve issues.
• Design, implement, and execute high-quality automated test scripts for our software solutions tailored to benefits and HR management systems.
• Leverage scripting processes to automate testing and enhance software quality.
• Enhance new and existing applications by identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting issues using automated testing scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our software aligns with market demands and business objectives, using automated testing to streamline the development process.
• Continuously update and maintain automated testing scripts to reflect changes in product specifications and business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software test role with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL for SQL Server) and API development/testing tools such as Postman.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen sense of urgency.
• Ability to understand the impact of changes in business processes on technical requirements and make necessary adjustments in applications.
• Passion for a rapidly changing environment and respond effectively to shifting market demands.
• High level of accuracy, dependability, and follow-through.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), Git repositories, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in testing APIs for system integration and enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services offerings such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Bedrock, and Lex.
• Prior experience testing a chatbot/live chat product.
• Understanding of benefits administration industry best practices and business rules.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
