We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.  

In this role you will contribute to the quality assurance process of our software products. The ideal candidate will execute manual test scripts, report anomalies, and perform basic computer configuration and compatibility testing. They will possess strong investigative and problem-solving skills, along with familiarity with product lifecycles. This role requires the ability to learn quickly and work under the supervision of more senior testers. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute prewritten manual test scripts and report product anomalies. 
  • Run automated test tools and analyze results. 
  • Perform basic computer configuration and application compatibility testing. 
  • Collaborate with senior testers to ensure product quality. 
  • Provide detailed analysis of test results and adjust test cases accordingly.
  • Participate in product specification reviews to provide bug prevention or proactive testing. 
  • Troubleshoot failures and triage issues to the appropriate level with developers or program managers. 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years' experience with testing tools such as Fiddler. 
  • 1-2 years' experience with webapps and testing in web browsers.
  • 1-2 years' experience with testing on Android and iOS devices. 
  • Experience running manual test cases and scripts on Windows platform. 
  • Experience with hyper-v environment, virtual machine creation. 
  • Event viewer, log collection, ability to use command line, scripts on Windows. 
  • Knowledge of black box software testing principles. 
  • Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, or Perl Script. 
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware, debugging, and operating systems. 
  • Knowledge of Windows interface guidelines. 

Salary Range 

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $35,000 to $45,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
