Job DescriptionWhat you'll Do
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Plan, design, develop, and implement test cases and test scenarios in line with
project requirements.
• Write business value test cases for automation.
• Ensure Detailed collection of execution results and evidences.
• Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
• Analyze failed tests and manage defects using Jira (bug tracking tool).
• Identify and resolve bugs raised by clients within agreed timelines.
• Test fixes and conduct post-resolution follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved.
• Communicate with team regarding testing standards and methods to improve process.
Client Support & Documentation
• Prepare formal documents to help customers test functionality independently.
• Identify, Record, track, and document the problem-solving process from beginning to
end and provide solutions.
• Continuously improve understanding of the systems functionality.
• Provide managers with feedback on enhancements and system improvements.
• Prepare MIS and task reporting, along with periodic performance reviews.
• Assist clients via calls, remote sessions or site visits in understanding and testing system
Must-Have Skills
• Strong passion for testing and quality assurance.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Thorough knowledge of manual testing concepts and defect life cycle.
• Ability to write effective test cases, scenarios, and test documentation.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and agile testing within the Scrum Kanban environment.
• Clear understanding of different types of testing and knowledge of its usecases.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Creative, critical thinker, flexible, collaborative, and time-management oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel/Word.
Good to Have
• ISTQB Certification.
• Knowledge of Postman, Jmeter, RestAPI testing.
• Training or certification in manual testing.
• Knowledge of BFSI and BFSI compliance.
• Familiarity with operating systems.
• Familiarity with using AI tools
