Your role
You are part of a global software test engineering team ensuring the quality, reliability and regulatory compliance of Philips patient monitor platforms. In this role, you combine software verification expertise with ownership of test lab infrastructure and network environments, enabling robust end‑to‑end system testing.
Your responsibilities
Shape, maintain and evolve the network and infrastructure of our software test laboratories
Ensure robust, scalable and compliant test lab environments including tools, simulators and PC‑based systems
Define and drive the test strategy in close collaboration with Software Development, Verification and Quality Engineering
Plan, set up and execute system‑level software tests, including long‑term and security patch testing
Act as a key technical interface for stakeholders (project managers, system engineers, functional managers)
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in complex networked environments
You’re the right fit if you have
Strong Software Test / Verification background in regulated environments (Medical preferred)
Solid understanding of Design Controls and quality‑driven SW development
Hands‑on experience with:
PC‑based software testing & virtualization (VMware / Microsoft)
Network configuration (DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP ranges, gateways, WLAN)
Communication protocols (TCP, UDP, Multicast)
Experience maintaining test labs and infrastructure
ISTQB Advanced certification (required)
Fluency in German and English
Influential or technical leadership experience is a plus
