Software Technologist I
Your role:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, automation tools, and developer productivity applications using C#, Python, and Perl scripting.
- Build and enhance engineering workflow automation frameworks to improve development efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
- Develop, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and DevOps-driven development practices.
- Manage and contribute to GitHub-based development processes, including repository management, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and GitHub Actions automation.
- Analyze complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve engineering processes.
- Support build, release, and infrastructure automation activities to ensure reliable and efficient product development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through standardization, automation, and adoption of engineering best practices.
- Utilize version control systems, build tools, and cloud-based development environments to support end-to-end software development and delivery.
- Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities within the team to foster innovation and engineering excellence.
You are fit if:
- 6–8 years of hands-on software development experience with strong proficiency in C#, Python, and Perl scripting.
- Strong coding, debugging, and software design skills with a focus on developing scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience in building automation tools, developer productivity solutions, and engineering workflow automation.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, build and release management, and infrastructure automation.
- Working knowledge of GitHub, including repository management, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, GitHub Actions, and workflow automation.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop robust solutions using scripting and programming languages.
- Experience with version control systems, build tools, and cloud-based development environments.
- Willingness to work in a DevOps team and drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and engineering excellence.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across development, QA, and operations teams.
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
