By playing a significant role in enabling the production of the next generation of microchips, our expertise enables our customers to transform possibilities into reality.Your OpportunityWe are seeking a versatile senior software manager to develop cutting-edge software solutions for new/existing products in Inspection domain. Inspection provides the science, techniques, and precision devices that are used to determine if parts or features of chip have any defective locations. Using Inspection tool chipmakers can achieve the required extreme inspection sensitivity, inspect more often, collect more data, accelerate yields, and lower the cost per wafer. Build strong team with Agile mindset and adopt quick changes according to the business need. Also, you will be supervising software developers, analyzing software performance and configuration systems, and managing the deployment and integration of new software. You will also be required to hire new software developers. Opportunity work with latest technology like React, Redux, Java, Spring, Python, Image processing, AI/ML and MySQL with monolith/SOA/microservice oriented architecture running on CPU/GPU. Also evaluating and introducing new technology to improve the performance, User experience and improve the developer experience. Roles and Responsibility- Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Product software development team deliverables from requirements to final code delivery with required SW Quality.
- Learn Product Domain and Software Infrastructure to provide technical mentorship to teams.
- Expected to be proficient in programming and software development and managing teams of 8-10 Software developers QA.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to software engineers during the development process.
- Given the requirement, define functional specification, design specification, implementation & verification plan.
- Require strong communication skills to interact with and influence stakeholders as you will need to work with the end users of the products and applications engineering teams.
- Expert in Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Good at problem solving and debugging.
- Will require to effectively work in a multi-site environment, with teams across time zones,
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments and support team members to deliver on expectations
- Lead teams to support organizational initiatives and generic issues
- Involve in hiring and building Task force for the team.
- Ready to work in a Techno-managerial role with significant technical contribution from Manager
- Be willing to travel to onsite locations for Business meetings, Version installations and SW Support
Qualification and Requirements- Bachelor's Degree / master’s degree in engineering with CE /EE background with 8-12 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 10-year experience in software development with new product development with exposure to bug fixing, maintenance, continuous integration releases
- Minimum experience of 4+ years of driving/contributing towards HLD & LLD, contribution towards code reviews & coding practices (like clean code & SOLID principles)
- Minimum 5–6-year experience in technical road mapping / field interaction/ cross functional teamwork / project leadership and handling teams of 6-12 members
- Minimum experience of 3+ years in Python programming and libraries (Ex; NumPy, OpenCV, pandas etc.)
- Proven experience in deploying AI/ML solutions and integrating these models into production-grade software systems consisting of GPU/CPU architectures.
- Awareness of containers & orchestrations technologies such as dockers
- [Advantage] Experience in Java .
- [Advantage] Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience in C++/C programming for optimizing TPT
- Minimum 1-2 yrs experience in People management
- Strong experience of working in global teams and handling multiple stake holders
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tool chain
