About this opportunityWe are looking for a Korean speaking senior Software Solution Lead to join Ericsson's Software & Cloud Solution organization, supporting the MNEA market with focus on South Korea from a base in Dalian, China (remote-friendly). You will be the primary technical interface between Ericsson and our customers, leading requirement analysis, CIQ activities, solution architecture and end-to-end delivery of cloud-native software solutions. Working closely with customer technical teams, Ericsson customer units, architects, developers and delivery organizations, you will turn business requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing software and cloud solutions for the Korea market.
What you will do
- Lead customer workshops, requirement gathering sessions, technical reviews and solution presentations.
- Communicate fluently in Korean and English with customer and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into solution designs and implementation plans.
- Drive CIQ collection, analysis, validation and gap assessment, and support technical negotiations and sign-off.
- Define end-to-end architectures; produce and maintain HLD/LLD and key design documents (solution, integration, NIR, MOP).
- Ensure compliance with Ericsson and customer architecture, security and quality standards.
- Lead implementation with development, integration, testing and DevOps teams, from design through deployment and acceptance.
- Promote Agile and DevOps ways of working; drive CI/CD pipeline design, automation and continuous integration/testing/monitoring.
- Support troubleshooting, customer acceptance and production deployments.
- Build strong relationships with customer and internal stakeholders and act as trusted technical advisor for the Korea market.
You will bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or related field.
- 8-10+ years in software development, solution architecture, systems integration or technical consulting.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical leadership and full solution lifecycle ownership.
- Strong track record in gathering requirements and turning business needs into technical solutions.
- Solid background in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architectures, API design, system integration and deployment.
- DevOps and automation experience, including CI/CD architecture, pipeline configuration and continuous integration/testing/monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or equivalent, and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong development skills in Python and Java; experience with REST APIs and Linux/Unix.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- (Preferred) Knowledge of telecom network architecture, Ericsson Core and 4G/5G Core, NFV, cloud and OSS.
- Proven AI-related experience (e.g. MCP, tool/function calling, agentic AI).
- Fluent written and spoken Korean and English, strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, virtual environment across Northeast Asia.

- Location: Dalian, China. Supporting customers in the Korea (SK) market within MNEA.
- Travel: Occasional business travel to Korea for key customer and project activities.
