Your Role:
We are now looking for a Security Architect, Plan Engineering to join our company of extraordinary people. As a Software Security Architect, your mission will be to safeguard our customers' highly confidential business data and ensure our services remain continuously available. You will have considerable freedom in prioritizing your own work, while being backed by our seasoned information security team that provides you with guardrails,
At RELEX we empower engineering teams to own their security controls and continuously improve them, although we recognize that sometimes they may need guidance or support. As Security Architect, you'll be instrumental in bridging this gap, helping teams enhance their security posture while maintaining our high standards of data protection and system resilience.
To succeed in your role, you need to have good communications skills to sell your ideas inside the product development organization.
What you will be doing:
As a Security Architect at RELEX Solutions, you will ensure our systems are secure and resilient. You will design functional security controls; ensure non-functional security requirements are met and act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams.
- Design Functional Security Architecture: Develop and implement security controls that protect our systems, participate in roadmap prioritization
- Support Security Audits: Support the teams in preparing for independent security audits
- Incident Response Readiness: Design systems that are prepared to detect, respond to, and enable effective investigation of security incidents
- Security Testing Processes: Establish and orchestrate common processes for SAST, DAST, and SCA
- Threat Modeling: Collaborate with engineering teams to discover threats and suggest remediations
- Trusted Advisor: Act as a point of contact and advisor for security-related matters within the engineering teams
What you bring to the table:
- Strong expertise in Azure, hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and the Java ecosystem
- Experience in building secure applications on Linux and defending Linux environments
- Proven ability to design and drive the implementation of robust security measures
- Capability to read and reason about code
- Aptitude to automate yourself out of repetitive situations using scripting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence within a product development environment
- Fluency in English, with strong literacy and writing skills
What we consider an advantage:
- Experience with CSPM (Wiz), Hashicorp Vault, JFrog, or SonarQube.
- Familiarity with the latest security trends and threats.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with security standards such as ISO 27001 and ISAE 3000 SOC 2.
