We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on testing of the RISC-V architecture for Fedora Linux environments. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards, aligning with the principles of open-source development.

What will you do

Conduct comprehensive testing of the RISC-V architecture in collaboration with the Fedora Linux open-source community.

Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate RISC-V architecture components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand architecture specifications and provide feedback for improvements.

Work closely with Linux kernel developers to integrate and validate RISC-V support within the Fedora Linux operating system.

Identify and troubleshoot compatibility issues, ensuring seamless integration of RISC-V architecture with the Linux environment.

Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process. Integrate quality assurance processes into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for efficient and consistent testing.
What will you bring

Knowledge of C programming and experience with Python programming and Shell scripting.

Knowledgeable in Linux kernel architecture and open-source development practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The following are considered a plus

Proven experience in working on Linux hardware architectures, like x86_64 or arm is considered as a huge plus.

Experience with the RISC-V architecture is a huge plus.

Experience with performance testing tools, security testing methodologies, and test automation frameworks is a plus.

Experience with continuous integration tools and practices.

Previous contributions to open-source projects.
