The Role

T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Specialist to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations and Maintenance Services program located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and review/analyze data and documentation that will support monthly status reports, progress reports, and weekly update reports.
  • Develop and implement company and regulatory quality standards.
  • Coordinate QA training program to provide training within the Quality Assurance team that will be reviewed by the Pillar Leads & the Project Management Lead Trainer.
  • Create and monitor a QA plan that includes checks and balances for the SMEs
  • Address and resolve Corrective or Preventive actions.
  • Assist in the review and approval of deviation notices and investigations generated by technical departments in the form of AARs or other supporting documentation
  • Work with Program Management in the submittal of Government requirements.
  • Participate in auditing specific aspects of the company’s ISO quality systems, report all findings to issue corrective action plans, and verify effective corrective action.
  • Participate in review and approval of department SOPs.
  • Support the company’s Change Control System and provide audits as needed with the Change Management Analyst team
  • Serve as a QA subject matter expert.
  • Create and maintain a document repository for all QA activities and procedures in Confluence
  • Help create and maintain extension requests with Program Management
  • Provide audit inputs and improvements to the PMO, Leads, and Management team to improve team performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field with five (5) or more years of related experience. A Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience or a High School Diploma and 9+ years of experience may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance or higher
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering training programs, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows base applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Desired Skills:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Certified Software Quality Engineer (CCSQE).

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $104,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
