Position Overview

This role is an opportunity to join our multi-year journey to transform the Design-to-Manufacture experience with Fusion. By unifying workflows and leveraging cloud technologies, we’re delivering new levels of value for customers and rapidly integrating leading technologies and expert teams into the Fusion ecosystem.
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance features within Fusion as part of our Design and Manufacturing Organization.
Responsibilities
Analyze requirements to identify testable features
Work with developers and stakeholders to clarify scope
Participate in requirement reviews and assess testability
Document and communicate test scope
Assist in creating and maintaining test plans
Execute test cases, validate results, and report progress
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Help prepare test reports and documentation, including defect summaries
Follow detailed instructions for assigned tasks
Apply basic problem-solving concepts
Learn software workflows and troubleshooting tools
Identify and escalate issues and find relevant resources
Develop familiarity with products and components under test
Perform various tests and accurately report defects
Learn the product lifecycle and development process
Understand project timelines, milestones, and release schedules
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including participation in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with CAD concepts & quick learning
Preferred Qualification
Experience with CAD software usage or development is a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
