About the Role

We are seeking a Software Product Manager to help us shape a new technical product to replace the legacy invoicing and processing platform. This role focuses on technical product management, encompassing requirements analysis, data analysis, road mapping, and shaping technical solutions collaboratively with the architects and development team within an agile (Scrum) environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and user stories. Ensure that all stakeholders’ requirements are understood and addressed. 

  • Data analysis: Analysing and understanding existing data structures and data sets of the existing platform and translating it into a to-be data model (together with solution architects) 

  • Solution Shaping: Collaborate with the enterprise architects, solution architects, and development team to design and shape technical solutions based on analysis results. Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the overall product strategy. 

  • Agile Development: Act as Product Owner in a Scrum setting, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 

  • Product Strategy and Road mapping: Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs. Define the vision, strategy, and priorities for the new invoicing and processing platform. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate progress. Ensure transparency and alignment between technical teams and business units. 

  • Documentation and Training: Ensure comprehensive documentation of the product features, functionalities, and processes. Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed. 

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that the product complies with relevant regulations (SOX, PCI, etc.), standards, and best practices. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 

Experience  

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software product management, with a strong focus on technical product management. 

  • Experience in conducting Scrum ceremonies is helpful.  

  • Previous experience with ERP systems and invoicing platforms is a plus. 

Skills 

  • Technical Expertise: technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.  

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough analysis (SQL) and translate results into actionable insights. 

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively. 

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and business stakeholders. 

Other Requirements 

  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certifications are preferred. 

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive and solution-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. 

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and quality of work.
