Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) mission by sustaining, modernizing, and transforming critical enterprise corporate applications used across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, and logistics.

In this role, you will lead the integration and automation of five COTS products—including TeamMate+, Power BI, and CMTS—within a secure cloud environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in system integration, installation automation, and cross-team collaboration, contributing to the seamless operation of applications that support thousands of government users every day.

Join our diverse, growing team and make an impact on mission-critical systems that power the daily operations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and maintain five COTS products (TeamMate+, Power BI, CMTS, and others).

  • Perform quarterly updates and upgrades for each product.

  • Support new installations and ongoing maintenance efforts.

  • Manage products of varying maturity levels—some with well-defined installation processes and others requiring documentation creation or updates.

  • Oversee and maintain certificates and multiple development environments (x3).

  • Automate installation processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Conduct basic System Administration (SA) tasks and collaborate with the Cloud Operations Team for more complex system activities.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues, determining whether they stem from vendor bugs or configuration errors.

  • Utilize Windows tools and work within Windows EC2 instances in a C2S environment.

  • Manage and query Microsoft SQL databases.

  • Work with scripting languages (e.g., Python or others that meet security requirements) to streamline operations and automation.

  • Potentially operate within Linux or use command-line tools within Windows environments.

  • Understand both the development and operational aspects of product integration.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with software installation, configuration, and automation.

  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of integration issues.

  • Ability to create or refine process documentation for repeatable success.

  • Experience collaborating with cloud or infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years' experience as an SIE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Ten (10) years’ SIE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Experience developing and executing tests to validate the installation, integration, and configuration of COTS/GOTS software
  • Experience developing software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written
  • Experience with basic system administration skills in cloud hosting platforms
