The Functional Consultant will be responsible for delivering functional solutions and providing business process consulting service to our clients. The candidate should possess in depth knowledge of business software features and functions, including customization and integration capabilities, and also should have a thorough understanding of business needs and requirements to translate them into functional specifications for technical development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement analysis and understand the clients' business processes to suggest a suitable product solution.
- Understand the clients' business goals and make recommendations regarding the software solutions that can assist in achieving their objectives.
- Provide clients with presentations, prepare functional specification documents, and provide training as needed
- Deliver and implement products solutions to clients ensuring successful project completion within budget and timeline.
- Provide post implementation support, resolve issues and questions raised by clients.
- Keep up to date knowledge of changes in our products and platform updates, and suggest enhancement and upgrades.
- Colloborate with cross functional teams to create and execute testing plans ensuring that the solution meets the clients' needs.
- Ability to develop functional design documents and process flow diagrams for complex business processes.
- Experience in configuring and customizing CRM, Ecommerce platforms, Helpdesk, ERP systems to meet clients' needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Management,Computer Science, Information Technology or Related Fields.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Functional Consultant
- Has experience delivering solutions for CRM, Helpdesk, ecommerce platforms and or ERP systems.
- Project management skills, including estimating time requirements, setting deadlines, and managing resources.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent in written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of integrations capabilities with third party applications.
- Ability to travel to clients site when necessary
- Possess a thorough understanding of enterprise systems and their application in business processes.
