Honeywell is looking for a motivated Salesforce Configuration Engineer who is passionate about technology and building scalable Salesforce solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Salesforce Architects to configure and enhance Salesforce applications using best practices, with a strong focus on declarative development and platform automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Salesforce solutions using standard platform features and best practices
- Work closely with Architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible and scalable
- Develop and support declarative automation using Salesforce tools such as Flows and validations
- Build and maintain Apex code, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) as required
- Assist with test planning, execution, and quality validation activities
- Support Salesforce deployments and data migrations across environments
- Work with Salesforce metadata, managed packages, and their dependencies
- Provide guidance on best‑practice configurations and out‑of‑the‑box solutions
- 3-6 years of hands‑on Salesforce Platform experience
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and declarative automation tools
- Working knowledge of Apex development
- Exposure to Aura components and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Understanding of Salesforce Metadata API
- Experience with Salesforce deployment and migration tools such as SFDX, Change Sets, or ANT
- Basic understanding of declarative vs custom development trade‑offs
- Familiarity with managed packages and Salesforce org structures
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer or related)
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodology
- Experience documenting business processes using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
