Join our Software Engineering Group to utilize your innovative skills in solving business problems and enhancing the experience for Chase partners. As part of the Partner Channel product engineering group, you'll be integral in building products from scratch that serve as the cornerstone for external partners across multiple lines of business. Our aim is to be the easiest consumer bank for partners to integrate with. In this fast-paced, startup-like environment, you'll work on various greenfield products, enabling other Chase teams to deliver consistent partner-facing capabilities.
The Partner Channel product engineering group is responsible for partner integrations into Chase. We are building products from the ground up that will help provide a delightful end-to-end experience for Chase partners. Our products serve as the cornerstone for external partners of Chase across multiple lines of business to make us the easiest consumer bank for partners to integrate with. Our products also enable other product teams at Chase efficiently deliver partner-facing capabilities that are consistent. As a member of the team, you will work on various greenfield products in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Partner Channel product engineering group, you will be instrumental in aligning business strategy with technical execution, leveraging your understanding of product roadmaps and business goals. You will build data solutions that enhance partner experiences and expand our customer value proposition. Your deep knowledge of the end-to-end data process from data acquisition, to processing, to storing, to distributing, to presenting and developing meaningful insights will be key. You will lead engineering teams to develop, construct, test & maintain data architectures. As a lead, you'll ensure that solutions are elegant, resilient, of the highest standards, and adhere to firm-wide risk and architecture guidelines.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Computer Science / Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
- Experience with Big Data & ETL tools like Pentaho, Hadoop, AWS Glue
- Advanced knowledge of Databases Management, Relational & Non-Relational Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages in particular, the Java/J2EE stack
- Experience building SaaS platforms, tools & services for engineers.
- Advanced knowledge of architecture & application design processes.
- Strong coding fundamentals - Algorithms & Data Structures
- Passion for automating & excelling at identifying gaps in processes.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong bias for action; ability to take ownership and think long-term.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge of APIs - RESTful APIs, Web Services, Spring Boot
- Angular JS, React and/or JavaScript UI development is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Version Control tools (BitBucket, Git)
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
