DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 (Three) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, UI Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 (One) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, UI Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Building and maintaining web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React; Integrating RESTful APIs, managing state with ngRX and Redux, and developing interactive features with event handling and animations; Implementing server-side applications using Springboot, SpringCloud, Spring Web Flux, and Spring MVC, emphasizing security with Spring Security; Architecting and deploying scalable web applications on AWS EC2, S3, and RDS; Managing containerized applications with Amazon EKS, and optimizing performance using CloudWatch; Developing AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform; Automating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or AWS CodeDeploy; Utilizing API Gateway, Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS for serverless and containerized architectures; Managing blue/green deployments with AWS CodeDeploy; Monitoring performance with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and Datadog; Optimizing GraphQL APIs, integrating databases including Cassandra and MongoDB, and managing with DBeaver, Oracle, PL/SQL, AuroraDB, and SQL Server; Implementing continuous code quality inspection with SonarQube; Managing logs with Splunk, integrating Google APIs for maps and authentication, and utilizing Kafka for real-time data processing; Implementing authentication and authorization using Spring Security; Building responsive frontend interfaces with Bootstrap and Vue.js; Designing and executing batch processing jobs with Spring Batch, handling data interchange with XML and JSON, and streamline ETL tasks; Developing machine learning models with Python; Automating testing with Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Mockito, and Jest; Deploying applications on Cloud Foundry, configuring Tomcat servers, and creating data visualizations with D3.js and Dojo; Performing ADA testing and automation using Axe dev tools, Color Contrast Analyzer, Cypress, and Selenium; Employing microservices architecture with Docker and Kubernetes for scalability and modularity; Implementing serverless computing using AWS Lambda and API Gateway for efficient resource utilization; Utilizing event-driven architecture with AWS SQS, SNS, and Kafka for asynchronous communication and real-time data processing; Implementing blue/green deployments and application load balancing for high availability and seamless updates.
