As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's MIS Finance/Accounting organization. You may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.
The Regulatory Risk Management team in Business Technology and Innovation Group at PNC is dedicated to developing innovative data products and business process solutions to support Regulatory Risk and compliance requirements. The Software Engineering Manager will work on business and regulatory requirements related to various regulations like CECL. The role requires subject matter expertise in Asset Liability Management at Financial Institutions along with proficiency in financial modeling as well as tools and methodologies used for business analytics.
• 5+ Years of experience working as a Business Analyst or a Data Analyst, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or Credit Risk Management working on regulations like Basel III or CECL or regulatory reports like FRY 9c or FFIEC 031.
• Working knowledge of Banking, Financial markets, and products with ability to analyze Regulatory implications of all on and off-balance sheet activities.
• Familiarity with GL Posting and Reconciliation process.
• Design end-to-end processes including requirement gathering and creating FNF documents.
• Collating business requirements with respect to Data profiling and Data comparison needs from Business users.
• Primary Liaison between LoB Team and Various Development/Support teams.
• Involved in documenting the Source to Target Mapping documents and designing the reporting layer requirements as per User requirement.
• Review Data model Design and technical solution design.
• Intermediate to advanced level SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases
• Proficiency in Excel, with exposure to BI tools such as Axiom/ Tableau / OAS
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Provides consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results.
• Extensive experience in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and data requirements.

  • Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.
  • Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
  • Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
  • Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
  • Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.
