- Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Technical Strategy: Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the team, driving innovation and excellence.
- Product Delivery: Oversee product engineering planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, customer success teams, and stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Talent Development: Identify skill gaps, provide training opportunities, and encourage continuous learning and growth within the team.
What we are looking for:
- Extensive software development experience, including leadership roles.
- Proficiency in Software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Experience in team management and performance evaluation.
- Expertise in Full stack technical decision-making, build vs buy decisions.
- Experience with Object oriented programming languages: C#, .NET Framework
- Expertise in Relational (SQL) database technologies
- Knowledge of Transport protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS and networking technologies.
- Experience with Web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
- Experience with cloud environments, event driven microservices architectures
- Experience implementing DevOps tools and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing global engineering teams
- Experience building IoT applications and/or products for transportation industry
- Experience integrating with software embedded on devices (such as IoT devices)
- Building and scaling AI/ML applications for B2B market
- Experience working with hardware devices and embedded software
