AMP is hiring a Robotics Software Intern in-person in Louisville, CO reporting to the Senior Robot Software Engineer.

As our Robotics Software Intern, you will: 

  • Develop software that runs on our waste-sortation robots to improve their performance
  • Develop testing approaches to validate improvements
  • Iterate on solutions in our robotics lab
  • Present your designs, features, and results to the engineering team

The successful candidate will be: 

Required:

  • Programming knowledge in a memory managed language like C++ or Rust
  • Passion for making the world a better place to live
  • Ability to commute to work at our Louisville office

Preferred: 

  • Experience working with hardware/software systems in a project capacity
  • Intuition for mechanical systems

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a graduate OR undergraduate degree in a robotics related field

Experience: 

  • None required outside of education
