This position is part of our Global Internship Program, allowing new talents to show themselves, improve, and thrive with our support. It is an on-site paid internship at our site in Brno in The Czech Republic. The length is limited – for 3 months, for full-time employment – 40 hours per week. The start of the internship is the 1st of July 2026 and the end of the internship is the 30th of September 2026. This internship cannot be done remotely.
We work in hybrid mode 3+2, a minimum of 3 days at the office with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a maximum of 2 days at the home office per week.
The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.
We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).
About the Team & Product
Join Bolt Team, a delivery team within NIO (Network & Infrastructure Observability) focused on building cloud features for SolarWinds Observability (SWO). NIO delivers SaaS observability for infrastructure, applications, Kubernetes, and cloud services. Bolt contributes features that help customers see and act on what matters.
Our team has shipped AI‑assisted experiences inside SWO that analyze telemetry and surface insights to users. Your work can help extend these capabilities.
- Build features in .NET C# and/or React for SolarWinds Observability (Cloud/SaaS) - from requirement discovery through design, implementation, testing, and release to production.
- Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and contribute even to AI‑based product features.
- Collaborate in an agile SDLC (scrum), participate in stand‑ups, sprint planning, demos, and retros.
- Work with CircleCI pipelines, GitHub workflows, code reviews, and quality gates.
- Partner closely with product managers and UX to ship customer‑visible value end‑to‑end.
- Backend: .NET C#, REST/GraphQL APIs
- Frontend: React (TypeScript), component libraries, testing frameworks
- DevOps / Cloud: CircleCI, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, etc.
- AI tooling: GitHub Copilot and experimentation with LLM‑powered features
- You’re a student (or recent graduate) in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field.
- Hands‑on basics in either C# or JavaScript/TypeScript + React (coursework, projects, or contributions).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD; eagerness to learn cloud and containerization concepts.
- Curiosity for observability and how AI can augment real‑world developer workflows.
- Collaborative, proactive communicator in English; comfortable asking questions and iterating.
- Real product development in a cloud SaaS used by large, global customers.
- Mentorship from experienced engineers; exposure to the full development lifecycle.
