The Role
As a Software Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Engineering while contributing to real-world projects within our organization. This internship provides exposure to various engineering disciplines, allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills to solve technical challenges. This position is in Moscow, Idaho- you must currently be within a commutable distance to be considered.
Major Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist engineering teams with ongoing projects, contributing to research, design, development, testing, and documentation efforts.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to engineering experiments, tests, or simulations and present findings to the team.
- Design and Prototyping: Participate in the design and prototyping of engineering solutions, creating drawings, models, or prototypes as needed.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and manuals related to engineering projects and processes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to achieve project goals.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Learning and Development: Proactively seek opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, participate in training sessions, and acquire new skills in engineering disciplines.
Education and Experince
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline, e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc
- Strong interest in engineering and a passion for solving technical challenges
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects.
- Skills in Data Analysis, Development Testing, Project Management, Prototyping, Research Design, and Technical Documentation are highly desired
