Your Impact
Cisco WebEx helps people and businesses across the entire world to connect and collaborate. As a member of the WebEx media team, your work will ensure that every person using our products receives a truly immersive experience, regardless of their device or location.
On a day-to-day basis, this role involves:
Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements.
Performing peer code reviews and automating all development chores.
Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospective meetings.
Broadening your technical and soft skills with the help of our comprehensive training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
University degree in Software Engineering or another relevant natural sciences field or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in the TypeScript programming language.
Demonstrated ability to use AI responsibly to accelerate development.
Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Audio or video encoding/decoding technologies.
Working experience with browser-based media streaming and relevant protocols.
Experience with reviewing AI-generated code
Experience steering AI effectively via context and prompt design
