What you will be doing:
- Update and ensure the accuracy of Developer / Manager views in Task Manager by cross-checking with the status report. Provide daily progress reporting to the Pool Lead or Developer Manager.
- Write code according to a supplied Application Specification Document (ASD).
- Attend Scrum meetings, collaborate with other team members, and report progress to the team members (not the Scrum Master).
- Work closely with the Pool Lead or functional owner.
What our client is looking for:
- 8+ years of development experience.
- Experience with a 4GL programming language (e.g., Progress, OpenEdge, etc.) would be beneficial.
- Financial Services experience is ideal.
- Must have fundamental proficiency in the relevant development environment and coding language.
- Requires basic problem-solving skills and the ability to clarify requirements.
- Good communication, proactivity, a quest for knowledge, lateral / logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a logical manner.
