You will build, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that power SEEK's market-leading employment marketplaces across Asia Pacific. Working within cross-functional squads, you will contribute to platform engineering excellence while strengthening software engineering best practices. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable cloud-based solutions that serve millions of job seekers and hirers. Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality software while fostering team growth and driving continuous improvement across SEEK's technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software solutions from development through production deployment
- Develop tools for provisioning, automation, and platform health improvement
- Enhance platform reliability, resilience, and efficiency through engineering best practices
- Foster team collaboration and contribute to professional development initiatives
- Apply modern CI/CD practices and advocate for secure coding standards
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure platform solutions meet diverse customer needs
- Strengthen current software engineering practices to ensure fitness for purpose
Skills and experience
- Experience developing software in two or more modern programming languages
- Demonstrated track record writing well-tested, readable code using secure practices
- Hands-on platform engineering experience with solid programming fundamentals
- Proficiency in AWS, with exposure to Kubernetes, and in languages such as Go, Python, or JavaScript.
- Practical CI/CD experience with tools like Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Proven delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions
