As a Software Engineer, you will be dedicated to your microservices and deal with the challenges of a large architecture that is scalable, balanced, sends over 500 million messages daily and helps our clients to grow their business.
It’s an opportunity to work in one of our requirement areas, so no matter if you are taking care that our infrastructure is set to place if you work on the collection and analysis of data traffic or if you are developing custom communication channels, you are an equally important part of the story.
What will you do at Infobip?
Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the services owned by your team.
Take full ownership of the code you write - from design to deployment.
Write clean, testable, and scalable code following best practices.
Understand how your services interact with the larger system and how everything fits together.
While you'll primarily focus on backend development, you'll also have opportunities to explore frontend, system design, and observability tools.
Work in an agile environment (Scrum, LeSS) closely with Product Managers and your teammates.
Take part in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile rituals.
Keep learning, growing, and contributing to our engineering community
You're a good fit if you have:
Solid experience with Java or Kotlin.
Knowledge of writing unit and integration tests.
Hands-on experience with Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Canary, or similar.
An understanding of databases and data tools like MSSQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or similar.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
Experience working with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience using Testcontainers for integration testing.
Some Python experience for scripting or backend tasks.
About the Team
You’ll be joining a dynamic team working on real-time and near real-time detection of spam and fraud. The team includes developers, AI engineers, and data scientists who collaborate closely to build intelligent, high-performance systems.
We integrate machine learning models deployed on Kubernetes into our services and operate across more than 20 data centers worldwide to ensure our systems are scalable and always available. We handle high-throughput data streams from Kafka and analyze traffic in real-time using technologies like Java, Kotlin, Redis, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse, Prometheus, Grafana, ADX, and Kubernetes.
As a developer in our team, you’ll work on both existing and new services in the spam/fraud detection space. You’ll also collaborate with our data scientists on everything from data prep and model training to building scalable, AI-driven solutions that can handle massive volumes of data.
