Where you’ll make an impact:
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, QA and other Engineers to produce high-quality code that delivers business value and follows established standards and processes
- Build for scale, availability, performance, and security for our internal and customer-facing applications
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.
- Contribute to improving overall standards and processes through thought leadership, robust technical documentation, code reviews, and engineering practices.
- Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack.
- Work with others to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
- Proactively improve site performance metrics and telemetry
- Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, bootcamp or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend or full stack software development
- Experience working with continuous delivery methodologies and systems.
- Experience in at least 2 backend languages (such as Python, Typescript), automating software systems, building API integrations with REST, relational databases
- Past experience testing best practices, implementing unit tests, and defining test cases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; effectively collaborates with Product and other Engineering teams.
